Sonologist
Sonography is a multifaceted and unique profession।
It consists of a lot of clinical and imaging specialists. As sonologists we not only play a crucial role in the health management of our patients, but we pride
ourselves in the fact that we have the ability to perform distinctive, influential
patient care. sonologists do not simply take pictures but rather perform
investigative imaging. We must be malleable, subsequently prepared to
adjust each sonographic study based on clinical history and unpredictable
sonographic findings. The opportunity to utilize critical thinking is a unique
assignment for the sonographer.
With such a distinctive role comes a distinctive obligation. We cannot
merely perform the examination without a thought beyond the task at hand.
We must have a fundamental appreciation of how our images are created,
and thus how sound can be used to produce an image of the human body.
Absolute patient care demands that all sonologists not only have the ability
to obtain a diagnostic image but also have the ability to understand how
that image is shaped. Knowledgeable sonologists realize both the limitation
and growing potential for sonography. Although the use of ultrasound
on human tissue has not yet been definitively proven to cause any sustainable
biologic effects at diagnostic ranges, we must still practice in a way respectful
and mindful to the science behind the image.
